About Katie Anne

Inspired by the 2016 Olympics, Katie-Anne immediately became enthralled by cycling and soon joined her first club – Solent Pirates. After 2 years of learning basic skills and growing her love for the sport she competed in her first race, the CTT time trial around Thruxton race circuit. The weather was shocking with heavy rain throughout yet Katie-Anne loved every second and couldn’t wait to race again.

In 2019, “KA” dipped her toes into the National Circuit Series as a U14 and absolutely loved it, with a 3rd place GC finish in the Tour of Pembrey being a highlight. Following Covid, KA picked up an awesome 2nd place in the Madison at the British National Track Championships and made the move to Velo Club Londres. Jumping in at the deep end she started the season with Senior Track Nationals, balancing racing commitments with GCSE exams. In 2022, KA managed to win the overall at the Goodwood race series after a long 12 weeks and got some very strong results at Junior Track Nationals – battling for the podium.

“I’m very excited for the 2023 season with JRC. Not only is the race calendar looking stacked for UK and European racing but I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge with the rest of the girls. I’m also looking forward to a bigger season than last year and getting to attend road races that suit my rider type more, and of course racing Track Nationals”
