About Isla

After only beginning her competitive cycling journey at the start of 2022, Isla rode for Edinburgh Road Club Race Team as a Youth and is looking forward to taking her cycling to the next level with JRC in her first year as a Junior. In her first season, Isla raced across the UK and Ireland last year building up some great experience on the track, road and CX. She rounded off 2022 in style by becoming the Scottish Cyclocross Series Champion.

Cycling has been a big sport in Isla’s family since she was tiny with her whole family going on two wheeled adventures together. Isla decided to take cycling more seriously during lockdown and finally built up the courage to start racing having moved south from the Scottish Highlands.

“I’m really looking forward to racing as a Junior next year and being part of a great team. I know I still have a lot to learn but hoping the longer road races will suit my endurance style of riding.”
